Dunbar Little League Season End Party – Saturday, June 18th

This is a great annual event and fun way to wrap up the season. This year the dinner will be held at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club, which is a fantastic location with great atmosphere, ambiance and food. There will be a DJ, cash bar and lots of fun to be had by all. With the change in venue this is the first time we are trying to open it up to more of our baseball community. So come and celebrate the season with all!

When: Saturday, June 18th – 6:30pm to late

Where: Players Lounge – Vancouver Lawn, Tennis & Badminton Club – 1630 West 15th Avenue

Who: All members of Dunbar Little League Baseball

Cost: $50/ticket. Tickets include a great dinner with bottle of wine per table, slide show, dance and entertainment provided by your neighbours.

Space is limited so please let us know if you can attend. Put together your own table of 8 people.

Please contact Tina Wiebe @ 604-228-1938 or dtwiebe@gmail.com for ticket information. Drop off your ticket payment to the Major’s concession.

Blast Ball 2011

Welcome to Blastball at Dunbar Little League

BLASTBALL
The ages in this division are 4 year olds and 5 year olds in Preschool.
Blastball is a fun, basic introduction to T-Ball. In Blastball, kids hit a spongy ball from a stationary tee, run to the base, and stomp on it to make it honk. Teams are smaller, games are shorter, a numbered T-shirt

pre-Honk

and cap uniform is provided, and everyone has fun! Baseball glove and helmet are not required.
The season begins in mid April and games are played in the early evening on Wednesdays or midday on the weekends at Dunbar Memorial Park 33rd Avenue and Wallace. Team equipment is provided.
