Dunbar Baseball Loves Mother’s Day

Hello Dunbar Moms! We know, you NEVER get a real day off, and many of you will be at the park – coaching and cheering your kids on Mother’s Day Sunday May 10. Dunbar Baseball is providing a special treat for all moms in attendance, delivered to fans throughout the day. Or stop by the concession for your treat, where only Dunbar Dads will be volunteering away. On behalf of every player, thank you for being such a great baseball mom!

Dunbar Baseball Support for Uganda Baseball

Kakira Tournament March 2015
Every year, Dunbar Baseball donates equipment and uniforms to the Uganda Baseball and Softball Association (UBASA). Dunbar’s community efforts in supporting baseball in Uganda are shown in the photo above. Yes those are Dunbar and South Van uniforms. The “Dunbar” team won this particular game!
UBASA not only runs community leagues, the likes of what we have here with Little League – but the real growth and impact and excitement – is when UBASA introduces it into the schools. By supporting the physical education teachers – the entire school community benefits.
