On Saturday, April 12th, 2014, Dunbar Little League officially opened its 56th season. 46 teams took the field to celebrate the opening of the baseball season with so much opportunity in front of us for fun, growth and sport.
We congratulated the 2013 11/12 All-Star team on their District win and third-place finish at last year’s provincial tournament. Heidi Maclean did an amazing job of singing O Canada and Take Us Out to Ballgame! Andrew Wilkinson, MLA helped us get the season underway with the first pitch.
Under sunny skies, the season started with games in all divisions. Play ball!
