The Board has met tonight to approve a revised Return to Play plan. Details will be forwarded by your Division Coordinators tomorrow but please expect to have your player playing games by this weekend!
A couple of things to note:
- There will still be COVID protocols in place that will have to be adhered to.
- Contact tracing will still be mandated, so it is very important to always keep your player’s availability updated in TeamSnap for every event, and health checks via the TeamSnap app will have to be completed, no exceptions.
- At this time, the Provincial Health Officer is not allowing spectators at the games. I understand not being able to attend your child’s game will be incredibly difficult, but we have been warned by the Parks Board that they will be conducting random checks and revoking permits for any league who is deemed to have spectators at the park.
Your team managers will be very busy these next few days organizing everything for our players, please reach out to them and see how you can help with field prep, scorekeeping and safety volunteering.
