Welcome
The District 1 Little Leagues – Dunbar, Jericho, Kerrisdale and Little Mountain – are hosting a Girls Baseball Spring Baseball Series. These Friday sessions are open to girls from all four leagues, having an opportunity to meet and build friendships while playing baseball.
Our session is for players aged 7 and 8. It will focus on building skills through drills and scrimmage play led by Kristy Watson and the YOLO baseball coaches.
Cost: $120
Our Mission
- Build girls’ self esteem and technical skills so that they feel confident in their abilities.
- Promote a girls’ baseball community, encouraging friendships and team building.
- Reduce drop-out rates and reach parity in Little League enrollment.
Amanda Asay Jamboree
Players will be participating in the Amanda Asay Jamboree on Saturday, May 17, in Surrey. This is a girls-only, no score, all-fun tournament sponsored by Baseball BC.
Two Sessions
5:00-6:00PM or 6:00 to 7:00PM
Come dressed in baseball pants and cleats.
Bring a batting helmet, Jill, bat and glove.
